| LOCAL MISSION |
|
| Our church is an active part of the Fredericktown Area Church Association, an organization of local churches working together for our Lord. We are supporters of the Interchurch Social Services, which works to meet human needs in our community. (The Interchurch Center is located at 69 N. Main Street, 694-8110). We participate in the CROP Walk for Hunger, held in October, and other mission projects of Church World Service. |

| Our Building is also an instrument of our mission. We host two scouting groups and serve as a meeting place for other community organizations. |

| AMERICAN BAPTIST MISSIONS |
|
| First Baptist Church is actively involved in the mission of American Baptists through the Board of National Ministries and the Board of International Ministries. That interest and involvement in American Baptist mission has evolved historically through prayer and financial support, then through hands on service, and continues today in many ways - mission speakers, programs, prayer, financial contributions, attendance at mission conferences, and trips to mission fields. |
